In modern times, women have made significant strides in various aspects of society, including politics, business, science, technology, arts, and culture.  Women have achieved high levels of political leadership around the world. Women are increasingly taking on leadership roles in the business world and entrepreneurship.



Women’s access to education has improved globally, leading to greater empowerment and opportunities. Initiatives promoting girls’ education, such as the Malala Fund, have raised awareness about the importance of educating girls worldwide.
Women and allies continue to advocate for gender equality and women’s rights through various movements and initiatives. This includes campaigns against gender-based violence, efforts to close the gender pay gap, and movements like #MeToo, which shed light on issues of sexual harassment and assault.
Women are making strides in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, though there is still work to be done to achieve gender parity. Women have made significant contributions to the arts and culture, including literature, film, music, and visual arts.

While progress has been made, challenges such as gender-based discrimination, unequal representation, and systemic barriers persist. Efforts to address these issues and promote gender equality continue to be essential in achieving a more equitable and inclusive society.
