Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress and producer who has established herself as one of the leading actresses in the Indian film industry. She was born on January 5, 1986, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and raised in Bangalore, India.
Padukone made her acting debut in 2006 with the Kannada film “Aishwarya” and later made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with the blockbuster film “Om Shanti Om,” opposite Shah Rukh Khan, which earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
