Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress and producer who has established herself as one of the leading actresses in the Indian film industry. She was born on January 5, 1986, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and raised in Bangalore, India.

Padukone made her acting debut in 2006 with the Kannada film “Aishwarya” and later made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with the blockbuster film “Om Shanti Om,” opposite Shah Rukh Khan, which earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Since then, she has appeared in numerous successful Bollywood films including “Love Aaj Kal,” “Cocktail,” “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,” “Chennai Express,” “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela,” “Bajirao Mastani,” “Padmaavat,” and “Piku” among others.

Global fashion icon and brand ambassador for luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Cartier. Advocate for mental health awareness, founding the Live Love Laugh Foundation. Listed among the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2018 and awarded the Time100 Impact Award in 2022.
