Lewis Carroll, whose real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, was an English writer, mathematician, logician, and photographer. He was born on January 27, 1832, in Daresbury, Cheshire, England, and died on January 14, 1898, in Guildford, Surrey, England.
Carroll is best known for his literary works, particularly “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and its sequel “Through the Looking-Glass.” These imaginative and whimsical stories, originally written for Alice Liddell, the daughter of a friend, have become classics of children’s literature, beloved by readers of all ages.
‘Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland’ was published in 1865 and is still popular today.
