Stephen Hawking (1942-2018) was a renowned British theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and author. He is best known for his groundbreaking work in the fields of theoretical physics and cosmology, particularly his research on black holes and the nature of the universe. Despite being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at a young age, which gradually paralyzed him and confined him to a wheelchair, Hawking continued to make significant contributions to science and became one of the most influential scientists of his time. Hawking’s work has had a profound impact on our understanding of the universe, and he remains one of the most celebrated scientists of the modern era. His legacy continues to inspire future generations of scientists and enthusiasts alike.
